Present CFP : 2015

Over a decade of evolution in peer-to-peer computing has brought many advances to distributed systems. Besides establishing solid theoretical principles, this research has led to practical systems that benefit millions of Internet users. It has also helped push the frontier of computing applications, data, and services away from central nodes to the logical extremes of networks, where they can leverage edge resources such as user machines, access points, home gateways, and personal and enterprise clouds.

The IEEE P2P conference seeks high-quality, original contributions that advance the state-of-the-art in theoretical and systems aspects of P2P and edge computing. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:

- P2P systems and applications
- P2P applications and systems running in the Internet, clouds and mobile systems
- Leveraging users' cloud resources, including personal and enterprise clouds
- Crowdsourcing
- Security, privacy, anonymity, and anti-censorship
- Economics of P2P and edge computing
- Overlay architectures and technologies
- Self-organization and self-management
- Citizen participation systems
- Decentralized alternatives to logically centralized services such as web search and social networks
- Decentralized policy enforcement, participation incentives, trust, and reputation
- User experience and engagement as the drivers for systems and network design
- Blockchain architectures and decentralized cryptocurrencies
- Experience with deployed systems and applications
- Measurements and modeling of systems and networks
- Performance, availability, robustness, and scalability

Paper submissions are limited to 10 pages; see the conference website for more details about paper submission.
