The 26th IEEE International Conference on Scalable Computing and Communications (ScalCom 2026)
Location: University of Calabria - Rende, Italy Dates: September 7-11, 2026 Website: https://swc-ieee-2026.github.io/scalcom/ ***IMPORTANT DATES*** --------------- Full Paper Submission: April 1, 2026 Acceptance Notice: July 1, 2026 Camera Ready: July 31, 2026 Early Bird Registration: August 15, 2026 ***CALL FOR PAPERS*** --------------- Scalability is one of the key evaluation criteria of computing systems. High scalability represents a kind of elasticity, which can guarantee high throughput, small delay, and high performance. Scalable computing and communications are particularly crucial in fields such as artificial intelligence, big data processing, and scientific computing, where large-scale data processing or complex computational tasks are common. The 26th IEEE International Conference on Scalable Computing and Communications (ScalCom 2026) will include a highly selective program of technical papers, panel discussions and keynote speeches. We welcome high-quality papers that describe original and unpublished research advancing the state of the art in scalable communication & networks. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) --------------- Parallel and Distributed Programming Models and Tools Cloud and Edge Infrastructure Management Large-Scale Heterogeneous Computing Systems Scalable Cloud, Edge, and Serverless Architectures Distributed Data Management Systems High-Performance and Scalable Networking Scalability Solutions for IoT and Cyber-Physical Systems Energy-Efficient Scalable Computing and Communication Scalable Machine Learning and AI Algorithms Efficient Large-Scale AI Training and Inference Resource Management for AI and Data-Intensive Workloads Security and Privacy in Scalable Computing and AI Systems Kinds of accepted submissions --------------- Full Paper (6 pages) Short Paper (4 pages) Poster/Demo papers (2 pages) Publication Details: --------------- All accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and indexing databases like Elsevier, IET, and Scopus. A special issue on an ISI-impacted journal will be organised. A set of high-quality papers will be invited to submit an extended contribution. ***ORGANIZING COMMITTEE*** --------------- General Chairs: Raffaele Gravina, University of Calabria, Italy Moayad Aloqaily, Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, UAE Ye Li, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, China Technical Program Chairs: Andrea Vinci, ICAR-CNR, Italy Spyros Lalis, University of Thessaly, Greece Minxian Xu, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, China Workshop/Special Sessions/Panel Chairs: Fabrizio Marozzo, University of Calabria, Italy Wen Qi, South China University of Technology, China Publicity Chairs: Gianvito Pio, University of Bari, Italy Prem Prakash Jayaraman, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia Web Chair: Vincenzo Barbuto, University of Calabria, Italy | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
