Present CFP : 2010 | |||||||||||
The International Conference on Sensor Networks and Applications (SNA-2010) provides an international forum for presentation and discussion of research on sensor networks and their applications. The SNA-2010 conference will feature contributed as well as invited papers concerned with practice and applications. The conference also includes a Best Paper Award given for a paper presented at the conference. Papers will be accepted into chaired presentation sessions. The topics will include, but not limited to, the following areas:
On Sensor Network theories, models, security, and protocols: There have been deep research activities on sensor network theories and models. Their goal is to enable a sensor data query from hundreds of (even more) tiny, resource-constrained sensors. Interesting topics include: Information acquisition from sensor networks Data fusion / aggregation from sensor networks Network protocols and self-organization Congestion control and traffic models Mobile sensor and actor networks Underwater/acoustic sensor networks Security, Reliability, Fault-tolerance in sensor networks Other research on theories, models and protocols On Sensor Network Applications: Sensor networks are envisioned to enable a series of applications such as environmental surveillance, healthcare, plant/building automation, homeland security, multimedia acquisition, and so on. Although sensor networks have been in active research for many years, realistic deployments have not yet seen widely adoption. The lessons and experiences from sensor network testbeds and real-world applications could greatly advance this technology. Topics of interests on applications include: Healthcare /patient monitoring /body sensor networks Environmental monitoring Chemical / gas leak detection Pollution /air quality monitoring Building automation / visitors' guiding system Plant / farm monitoring Disaster recovery Vehicle automation other novel applications Instructions for Authors Papers will be accepted ONLY BY ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION in PDF format. Please include a cover page containing title, author's name(s), address, affiliation, e-mail address, telephone number and topic area. In cases of multiple authors, all correspondence will be sent to the first author unless otherwise requested. All submissions must be uploaded through this web site by July 15, 2010: | |||||||||||
