IEEE 24th International Conference on Information Reuse and Integration for Data Science
IEEE IRI’23, August 4 - August 6, 2023. Bellevue, WA, USA https://homepages.uc.edu/~niunn/IRI23/ + Selected, extended and revised papers will be published in Journal Special Issue(s). This conference presents excellent, novel, and contemporary papers covering all aspects of Data – including Scientific Theory and Technology-Based Applications. The IEEE IRI conference and its workshops serve as a forum for researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to present, discuss, and exchange ideas that address real-world problems with real-world solutions. Theoretical and applied papers are both welcome. The conference program will include several plenary speeches from academia, industry, and government as well as specialized workshops. The conference includes, but is certainly not limited to: - Information Reuse Data Science & Technologies - Heuristic Acquisition Data & Knowledge Representation and Management Data Visualization Information Science & Theory Contemporary as well as Novel Data Mining Techniques Graph Models Recommender Systems - Information Integration Machine Learning & AI AI and Security Heuristics, and Explanation-Based Learning vs. neural networks which are intractable Information Science & Theory Symbolic AI Evolutionary Techniques Predictive Data Analysis & Intelligence Statistical Analysis - Reusable Systems Software and Systems Reuse and Reusability Software Sustainability and Reuse Economics Software Maintenance and Life-Cycle Management Software Reliability, Robustness, and Dependability Platforms and Tools Applications – Autonomous Vehicles, Business, Education, Engineering, Healthcare and Medical Informatics, the Internet of Things, Math, Military, Multimedia, NLP, Robotics, Science, Security, Social Networking, Space, Vision, etc. Brain-Computer Interface: Applications and Algorithms Best Paper Awards: IRI’23 will also select and present a Best Paper Award, a Best Student Paper Award, and a Best Poster Award. ** Extended and revised versions of selected papers will be considered for Special Issues of the following journal(s): ** - International Journal of Computers and Applications, Taylor & Francis Important Dates Full paper submission: May 8, 2023 [Extended Deadline] Poster submission: May 15, 2023 Full paper acceptance notification: June 12, 2023 Poster acceptance notification: June 12, 2023 Camera ready submission: June 26, 2023 Author registration due: July 3, 2023 Conference events: August 4 - 6, 2023 Instructions Papers reporting original and unpublished research results pertaining to the above and related topics are solicited. Full papers must be in English of up to 6 pages (using the IEEE two-column template instructions). Six pages is typical and allows for extension of invited papers being extended for journal special issues publication. Posters (including short research highlights and tool demos) are up to 2 pages. Submissions should be double blind and should include only the title and should not include the author(s), affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), tel/fax numbers, and postal address(es) in the paper. The online submission site will be announced later. The authors need to select if their submission is for the "Full Paper" track or for the "Poster" track. If web submission is not possible, please contact Dr. Nan Niu (nan.niu@uc.edu) for alternate arrangements. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Paper & poster submission implies the intent of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper & poster in IRI'23 conference, if accepted.
