I'm thrilled to share that I'm serving as a Section Editor for the upcoming "Encyclopedia of Engineering Optimization and Heuristics" with Springer, alongside esteemed Editors Dr. Anand J Kulkarni (Institute of Artificial Intelligence, MITWPU, Pune, India), Dr. Efrén Mezura-Montes (Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, U of Veracruz, Mexico), and Dr. Hossein Bonakdari (Department of Civil Engineering, U of Ottawa, Canada).

My focus is on the sections "Optimization Problem Types" and "Structural Optimization," and I'm seeking expert contributors for chapters on the related topics.

We invite you to share your knowledge in concise chapters (max. 5 pages) following a structured format (including Synonyms, Definitions, Overview, Mathematical Formulation, Applications, etc.). The submission deadline is May 2025, with rolling reviews and publication upon acceptance. Authors can contribute up to 5 chapters.
