These system-of-systems have to adapt in order to be sustainable not only along the environmental but also along economic dimensions. Systems must be able to sense their environment using heterogeneous technologies. The sensed information has to be transferred into knowledge to support smart decisions of systems to adapt. In this context, are enterprise integration, interoperability and networking major disciplines that study how enterprise system-of-systems collaborate, communicate, and coordinate in the most effective way. Enterprise Integration aims at improving synergy within the enterprise so that sustainability is achieved in a more productive and efficient way. Enterprise Interoperability and Networking aims at more adaptability within and across multiple collaborating enterprises. Smartness is required to meet the resulting complexity. Enterprise modelling, architecture, knowledge management and semantic knowledge formalisation methods (like ontologies) are pillars supporting the S^3 Enterprise. This 13th edition of the workshop is organised as a venue of experts, and is part of the OTM2018 Federated Conferences. It aims at identifying issues in applications of interoperability in enterprise integration and networking that will be developed in future research projects. A keynote speech and a plenary session will be jointly organized with the CoopIS2018 conference. TOPICS OF INTEREST The main goal of this workshop is to provide a forum to meet, exchange research and implementation ideas, and share the most exciting results. EI2N2018 aims to offer practitioners and researchers with diverse backgrounds an opportunity to present research papers, share experiences, and participate in open discussions. Relevant topics include, but are not limited to: * The Smart, Sensing and Sustainable Enterprise * Interoperability issues in Next Generation Enterprise Information Systems * Cyber Physical Systems Approaches, Simulation, Methodologies, and Integration frameworks * Interoperability in the Context of Internet of Things * Open Linked Data and APIs for Enterprises * Methods for smart, cooperative and open CPS * Human-machine interface in CPS * Next Generation Enterprise Information Systems Modelling, Approaches, and Methodologies * Performance evaluation of Integrated Systems * Semantic Interoperability of Enterprise Systems * Enterprise Interoperability Assessment * Future Internet Enterprise Systems * Interoperability for (Model-Based) Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering * Cloud Computing and Cyber Physical Systems * Interoperability aspects of domain specific applications of CPS: health-care, disaster management and response, manufacturing, energy management, environment, logistics and mobility, agriculture and food, etc. * Formal tools for knowledge management in the context of CPS IMPORTANT DATES Abstract Submission Deadline: July 3rd Full Paper Submission Deadline: July 10th Acceptance Notification: August 20th Camera Ready Due: August 30th (firm deadline) Registration Due: August 30th (firm deadline) OTM Conferences: October 22nd – 26th Second Camera-ready upload (optional): December 1st WORKSHOP CO-CHAIRS Wided Guédria Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Luxembourg Wided.Guedria [at] list.lu Hervé Panetto University of Lorraine, TELECOM Nancy herve.panetto [at] univ-lorraine.fr Markus Stumptner University of South Australia Markus.Stumptner [at] unisa.edu.au Georg Weichhart Profactor GmbH & Pro2Future, Austria Georg.Weichhart [at] profactor.at |
