23rd Annual Workshop on Economic Science with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents June 30 - July 2, 2018 International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan http://cpu.icu.ac.jp/wehia/ The 23rd Annual Workshop on Economic Science with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents will be held at International Christian University in Tokyo from June 30 (Sat) to July 2 (Mon), 2018. WEHIA is the annual conference of the Society for Economic Studies with Heterogeneous Interacting Agents. WEHIA 2018 represents a unique opportunity to present and discuss the latest research on various aspects of the economy as a complex system consisting of heterogeneous interacting agents. Research contributions from various fields - economics, psychology, sociology, computer sciences, or physics - can prove useful for better understanding of key issues such as extreme events in financial markets, production growth, unemployment and poverty, inequality in income and wealth distribution, and many others. Paper submissions are invited. Extended abstracts (2 pages long) should be uploaded through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wehia2018) by February 28, 2018, for research topics in the following fields: Analysis of Concurrency Economy as a Complex System Agent Based Economic Simulation Social Networks Economic and Financial Networks Cryptocurrency Research Econophysics Complex Dynamics Analysis of Wealth and Income Inequality Macroeconomic Tail Risks Experimental Economics Bounded Rationality and Learning Evolutionary Game Theory In addition to the above list of possible fields, we welcome submissions on other topics developing new approaches to modelling economic equilibria and dynamics, and to time series analysis of economic and financial data. After the conference, decision will be made by Springer on the possible publication of conference proceeding in Lecture Notes in Economics and Mathematical Systems. Selected papers will be published in a special volume of Journal of Economic Interaction and Coordination.
