Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
The 3rd Conference on Information Technology, Systems Research and Computational Physics, will be held 2-5 July 2018 in Cracow, Poland. The conference will include keynote talks, regular papers and short communications. ITSRCP’18 invites the submission of papers on all aspects of information technology (especially, data analysis and computational intelligence), systems research, as well as computational methods of applied physics. Contributions in any related field, e.g. applied mathematics, are also particularly welcomed.
A co-event, the 6th International Symposium CompIMAGE’18 – Computational Modeling of Objects Presented in Images: Fundamentals, Methods, and Applications (http://isci18.fis.agh.edu.pl/) will be held at the same time and in close proximity. Participants, who have registered for one of the conferences can participate in both and publish one paper in each of the proceedings, providing that these papers are different and compatible with the subjects of the conferences. The proceedings of ITSRCP’18 will be included in the Springer’s Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing series and the proceedings of CompIMAGE’18 will appear in the Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. The conference can provide a limited amount of discounted registration fees and free dormitory accommodation to students and participants in disadvantaged situations. The interested persons should apply describing their case; the decision will be made at the discretion of the organizers. Highlights Important (but not exclusive) topics of interest: -data science, data analysis; -artificial intelligence, computational intelligence; -high complexity systems; -safety and security modeling; -telecommunication; -computer engineering; -control engineering, dynamic systems; -modeling and identification; -optimization; -decision support systems; -computational physics; -computational techniques in environmental physics; -imaging techniques in life and materials sciences; -modeling and simulation in condensed matter systems; -computer methods in medical physics, biophysics and biomedicine; -image processing; -probabilistic modeling; -information aggregation. Publications Proceedings with regular papers will be published in the Springer’s Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing series. After the conference, all authors will have the option to submit extended versions of their papers to a special section of the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (indexed in Scopus and ISI Thomson Reuters, within the JCR list). If there is sufficient interest, a special issues of the Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience (indexed in Scopus and ISI Thomson Reuters, within the JCR list) and the Journal of Automation, Mobile Robotics & Intelligent Systems with material related to the conference topics can also be published. All the above options are free of charge. |
