ICWL2010: The 9th International Conference on Web-based Learning

ICWL is an annual international conference on web-based learning. The first ICWL was held in Hong Kong in 2002. Since then, it has been held in Australia (2003), China (2004), Hong Kong (2005), Malaysia (2006) United Kingdom (2007), China (2008), and Germany (2009). The 9th ICWL event will be held in Shanghai, the largest city in China full of culture and scenery. This conference aims at providing an in-depth study of the technical, pedagogical, as well as management issues of Web-based learning. ICWL2010 will bring together educators, researchers, technologists and implementers of Web-based learning from around the world to discuss the state of the art in this area.

All accepted full papers presented in the conference will be published as a volume in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), and will also be submitted for indexing to EI. Authors of the best papers presented in this conference will be invited to submit extended version of their papers for possible publication in special issues of ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology.

The technical program will feature keynote addresses, tutorials, special sessions, panels, technical demonstrations, in addition to technical presentations of refereed papers. We cordially invite you to submit your work in one or more of above forms for, but not limited to, the following areas:

Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit original papers reporting on research results or novel applications in web-based learning. Papers for submissions should be formatted in single column of no more than 10 pages in single line spacing according to the Springer LNCS. Authors Guideline. Papers should be submitted in PDF format for review.
