Call For Papers

he 14th International Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications (ADMA)

16-18 November, 2018, Nanjing, China

Paper submission will be electronic through the easy-chair website.

The year 2018 marks the 14th anniversary of the International Conference on Advanced Data Mining and Applications (ADMA 2018), which will be held in Nanjing, China, November 16-18, 2018. It is our great pleasure to invite you to contribute papers and participate in this premier annual event on research and applications of data mining

Nanjing is the capital of China's Jiangsu Province and a city with a prominent place in Chinese history and culture. Nanjing has served as the capital of China during several historical periods, and is listed as one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. Nanjing is located in the downstream Yangtze River drainage basin and Yangtze River Delta economic zone, Nanjing has always been one of China's most important cities.

The conference aims at bringing together the experts on data mining from around the world, and providing a leading international forum for the dissemination of original research findings in data mining, spanning applications, algorithms, software and systems, as well as different applied disciplines with potential in data mining, such as smartphone and social network mining, bio-medical science and green computing. ADMA 2018 will promote the same close interaction and collaboration among practitioners and researchers. Published papers will go through a full peer review process

Submission of Papers

Paper submission will be electronic through the easy-chair website. The paper should be in English and contain unpublished contributions to the data mining and related fields. The paper should not exceed 15 pages in LNAI (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence) format. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the LNAI format. For the template and details on the LNCS style, see Springer’s Author Instructions. Submissions are reviewed in a single-blind manner.

Best Paper Awards

The award will be given to the paper that the Program Committee judges to be the best in quality, execution and impact among all the accepted papers in the conference.

Special Issues

High quality papers accepted by ADMA 2018 will be invited to submit an extended version for consideration of several special issues at leading international journals.

Call For Demos

We invite proposals for demonstrations to be displayed at the Demo Session that will be organized during the ADMA 2018 conference. The demonstration will provide a forum for researchers, practitioners and developers from academia, industry and government to display their latest data mining software systems, prototypes, conceptual designs, libraries, etc., in an interactive and inspiring setting.

Demo of advanced data mining and applications that involve state-of-the-art data mining techniques or innovative man-machine interaction are highly encouraged. Submitted demo is not required to be ready for commercial application, as long as it is of interest to the ADMA community.

The demo proposals should clearly describe the motivation and design of the demo system, the functionality of the work, and the significant of the contribution from a research and practical perspectives.

1. Demo proposals must include a paper that is no longer than four pages in LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) style.

2. At the conference, all accepted demos will be evaluated for the Best Demo Award.

3. Papers of the accepted demos will be published in the ADMA 2018 Conference Proceedings.

4. Demo proposals must be submitted electronically to the dedicated email address for the demo session at adma2018@163.com. Please do not to submit your demo proposals to the main conference.

Selection Criteria

1. Relevance to the ADMA community

2. Novelty of the application domain

3. Attractiveness of the interactive system

4. Technology used in the demo software

5. Potential for commercial applications
