This can be achieved by resorting to ICT in fulfilling aspirations and facilitating the foundations for a more peaceful and harmonized world. ICT is a neutral entity which relies in totality on users to give it meaning, purpose and direction especially when it is seen as a strength which complements our role and responsibilities as leaders and workers of tolerant religions. Building on the success of the previous ICT4M conferences, UIN and IIUM are proud to jointly organise the 3rd ICT4M in Jakarta on 13-14 December, 2010. The theme of this year ICT4M is "ICT Connecting Cultures" with the aim to bring together practitioners, academics, community leaders, local government officials, policy-makers and other professionals from diverse disciplines and regions around the world to address ICT solutions for the global concerns set by UN Millennium Development Goals (Ending Poverty and Hunger, Universal Education, Gender Equality, Child Health, Maternal Health, Combat HIV/AIDS, Environmental Sustainability, and Global Partnership and to build bridges of tolerance and respect across borders. Papers must be submitted electronically in Postscript, PDF, or RTF/DOC format at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ict4m2010. Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Submitted papers will be blindly peer reviewed by at least three members of the international program committee and carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings to be published by IEEE (pending approval). The submitted papers should not exceed 8 pages and must follow the IEEE guidelines (www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/pubs/confpubcenter/pdfs/samplems.pdf). The program committee will select a number of candidates for the award among accepted papers. The winner will be selected at the conference, considering both the paper and the presentation.
