This special issue is set to promote the advancement made to the data science research, which has recently been one of the major subjects in computer-related field, especially in the era of big data and analytics. It provides new contributions made to the theoretical and applications of data science. The issue covers these topics, but not limited to:

If you are interested in contributing an article, please inform the guest editor to propose a tentative title. The timeline is as follows.

• Manuscript submission by 1 September 2018
• First review result by 15 October 2018
• Revision submission by 1 November 2018
• Final result by 15 November 2018
