Call for Panels - ends June 15 | Call for Papers - ends July 26

The IV International Conference for Cooperation and Education will take place in Lisbon, November 8-9, 2018.

The call for the proposal of panels are open until June 15. From June 22 it is possible to submit papers for the panels that are accepted.

The IV COOPEDU is organised by the Centre for International Studies of ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) and by the School of Higher Education and Social Sciences from Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal). This year the theme is the Cooperation and Education of Quality, which intends to deepen the questions raised during the previous editions of the conference about the cooperation, at the educational level, between African countries and others.

The steering committee of the IV COOPEDU invites all to present their proposals of panels (deadline: June 15) and proposals of papers (deadline: July 16). The panels will have a coordinator and a duration of one or two sessions; each session will have 4 or 5 communications and a duration of 2 hours.

As this is an area with a wide scope of themes, we suggest the following analytical axes:
• Portuguese Cooperation on the educational area;
• Quality measures in the African educational systems;
• Human resources training in Africa;
• Language policies in African Countries.

The official language of the conference is portuguese and english. The proposals should be submitted in portuguese or in english and should includ:

• Title of the panel
• Nome, affiliation and email of the coordinator(s)
• Abstract of the theme (max. 3000 characters)
