JCAI-ECAI-2018 Call for papers
The Program Committee of the 27th International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-ECAI-18), joint with the the 23rd European Conference on Artificial Intelligence, invites the submission of technical papers for the main technical track of the conference which will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from July 13th to July 19th, 2018. Submissions are invited on significant, original, and previously unpublished research on all aspects of artificial intelligence. All papers will receive mindful and rigorous reviews. For nearly a half-century, IJCAI has remained the premier conference bringing together the international AI community to communicate the advances and celebrate the achievements of artificial intelligence research and practice. It is a highly-referenced conference that will provide authors with useful critical feedback. ECAI, which has been running every two years since 1982, has become the leading conference for this field in Europe. This is the first time that IJCAI and ECAI are joint. With the current explosive interest in AI and its applications, this conference is guaranteed to provide an exciting forum to present and hear about cutting-edge research in AI. Topics IJCAI-ECAI 2018 welcomes submissions across all areas of AI. The conference scope includes all subareas of AI, including (but not limited to) traditional topics such as machine learning, search, planning, knowledge representation, reasoning, constraint satisfaction, natural language processing, robotics and perception, and multiagent systems. We expressly encourage work that cuts across technical areas and/or integrated capabilities. We encourage all types of contributions including theoretical, engineering and applied. We also encourage papers on AI techniques in the context of novel application domains, such as security, sustainability, health care, transportation, and commerce. The special theme of IJCAI-ECAI-18 is the evolution of the contours of AI. There will be a corresponding special track with a specific call for papers. |
