For the 35th Australian Conference on Optical Fibre Technology a 3 page submission is required together with a 35 word summary of your submission. All presenters should also have a brief biography (maximum 100 words) prepared. Biographies are to be written in full sentences (not dot points) in the third person.
Presentation type

Contributed talks (selected from submitted abstracts): Presentations take place in chaired sessions and are 15 minutes in length (including time for question and answer).

Poster displays (selected from submitted abstracts): Displays take place in the exhibition area at specific times within the scientific program. The maximum poster size is A0 portrait (1189mm high x 841mm wide), vertical format.
Abstract submission

Abstracts should be submitted online by the Presenting Author. Only one author per abstract should be nominated as the ‘Presenting Author’. All communications regarding the abstract submission/acceptance process will be directed to the Presenting Author.

In order to complete the online abstract submission process, you will require the following information:

* Contact details
* Abstract title
* Presentation type: contributed talk or poster presentation
* Biography: all presenters are requested to provide a brief biography (maximum 100 words). Biographies are to be submitted in full sentences (not dot points) and please ensure they are written in the third person
* Abstract summary: 35 word summary of your abstract submission for inclusion in our Congress handbook. This will be repeated in your completed official abstract template
* Acceptance of the speaker terms and conditions
* Abstract prepared in the format specified as per the official abstract template
