Third International Workshop on Mobile Technology for Healthcare in conjunction with The 16th IEEE International Conference on Smart City (SmartCity - 2018)
June 28 - 30, 2018, Exeter, UK ------------------------------------------------------ MT4H 2018 - https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/computerscience/research/conferences-workshops/mt4h/ SmartCity 2018 http://cse.stfx.ca/~smartcity2018/index.php Sponsored by IEEE, IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Technical Committee of Scalable Computing (TCSC) -------------------------------------------------------- Workshop Goal One of the most promising mobile technology application areas is healthcare. Some recent advances in mobile, Internet-based and wireless technologies have supported smart solutions for delivering improved healthcare. Use of mobile technology for healthcare and wellbeing has proved to be cost effective and accessible in most countries, including low income countries. From ambient/assisted living to access to healthcare, mobile technology promises to transform healthcare services for all who require support and care. This transformation is accompanied by a set of challenges related to developing platforms/infrastructure, frameworks, devices and software solutions to enable safe and secure mobile care delivery. The MT4H workshop aims at providing a forum for discussion and sharing of research promoting all aspects of the mobile solutions for healthcare. Original research papers are invited on all aspects related to m-health, from smart ubiquitous environments to mobile apps, devices and systems applications in healthcare. Practical implementation, deployment and management solutions from the healthcare industry (including the NHS trusts) are also of interest. ----------------------------------------------- Workshop Topics Topics include, but are not limited to, the following: - m-Health - Smart objects for healthcare - IoT for healthcare - RFID and sensor enabled healthcare technology - Remote monitoring and care - Patient monitoring - Telehealth/Telecare technologies - Software and devices for Telecare - Ambient/Assisted living technology - Mobile technology for wellbeing - Smart home solutions - Technology for disease surveillance - Intelligent technologies for healthcare - Personalised healthcare - Apps for health and wellbeing - Personalised apps - Cloud based solutions - Health Data storage and management - Big Health Data: Analytics as a Service, Data Mining, Machine Learning - Decision support systems - Disease surveillance systems - Prevention and detection - Health promotion --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Dates Submission Deadline: 30 March 2018 Authors Notification: 20 April 2018 Camera-ready Paper: 15 May 2018 Conference Date: 28 – 30 June 2018 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paper Submission instructions All papers should be submitted electronically through the workshop website (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mt4h2018) in PDF format.
