SPACE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
ONLINE CONFERENCE, September 13th, 2021 Organized by CLAIRE and ESA, in association with ECML PKDD 2021 https://2021.ecmlpkdd.org/ The ESA-CLAIRE AI Special Interest Group on Space (http://claire-ai.org/sig-space/) is organizing its first online conference on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for applications in space technology. The conference, organized in association with ECML PKDD 2021 - The European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (https://2021.ecmlpkdd.org/), will be a full-day event and will take place on Monday, September 13th (a tutorial and workshop day for ECML PKDD). The program of the event will include 5 keynote talks, as well as a panel discussion. We will have up to 15 contributed presentations on topics concerning different AI methods (including, but not limited to, e.g., planning, machine learning) and different areas of space technology (including, but not limited to, e.g., space operations, earth observation). These include presentations of original/on-going unpublished work, as well as of recently published work. How to prepare and submit your contribution: The contribution should contain the following information: the title of your talk names and affiliations of authors designated speaker description of the work (soft suggestion is to consider textual description around 200 words, and hard constraint is up to 2 pages including all information - text, figures and tables, if provided) the desired length of your presentation (10 or 20 minutes including Q&A) The contribution should be submitted to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=spaceai2021.
