Arcada is a multidisciplinary university applied sciences, being the home to around 2,700 students. It is well-suited to host CIFEr, as it contains both a small auditorium (approximately 100 places) and one large auditorium (approximately 270 places), as well as several other spaces for parallel sessions, and a restaurant for lunches and refreshments. Helsinki airport is directly connected to around 80 European destinations, and 21 direct long-haul routes to Asia, the Middle East, and North America. Finland and Helsinki have also been one of the better countries in the world to fight the Covid-19 pandemics. Helsinki is also the hub for financial institutions in Finland and also for research within the area. Helsinki delights travelers with its sea-facing landscape, diverse architecture, world-famous design, and Nordic cuisine. Finland’s capital city is compact enough to explore on foot, and many reputable hotels are in the center of the action. It is also notable that Helsinki is one of the safest cities, also by night. There are also several attractions like museums, outdoor pools and short boat trips to the beautiful archipelago of Helsinki. |
