Call For Papers

The third RapidMiner Community Meeting and Conference (RCOMM 2012) will be held on August 28 - 31, 2012 in Budapest, Hungary. The conference will be a forum for exchanging cutting-edge ideas and results using the open source data mining solution RapidMiner and related products. The meeting encompasses tutorials, invited talks and presentations. Although the RCOMM is a tool-oriented conference, we are proud to say that it is also a real data mining conference dealing with the latest results in Business Analytics, especially in the fields of data mining, text mining, predictive analytics, and big data analytics.

Presentations can be applications (analysis processes, use cases, success stories, best practice recommendations) or descriptions of software packages building upon or extending RapidMiner.

Possible topics include but are not limited to

design of data analysis processes with RapidMiner,
text mining and sentiment analysis,
web mining,
data mining applications (production, finance, ...),
novel algorithms,
new extensions.
