Call For Papers

After going through new paths, develop new multiple looks and expand territories of knowledge, CIANTEC proposes a dialogue from experimentations, the phenomenological aspects of art, of new technology and communication in the contemporaneity.
Knowledge is based in concept allied to experimentation. However, the experience in the daily bases may turn into something invisible, ordinary.
Without ignoring the theoretical conceptualization, knowledge should be fulfilled and also thought with the glance. Not the assumed meaningful glance, but especially with the pure look, curious and poetic observation, registering the world seen without restrictions.
Art, new technologies and communication are study spaces, in the widest sense, to demonstrate the contemporaneity in all its precepts, variations and mechanisms. The purpose of this encounter is to disclose free observation and propose new ways to see and perceive contemporaneity in art, in new technologies and in communication, crossing its variations, its interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity.
Based upon these ideas it is expected the participation of students, professors and professionals interested in the areas presented as well as correlated ones, not only presenting articles and ideas, but also as audience granting a rich exchange of ideas and ideals.
CIANTEC 2010, in its fourth edition takes place in the “Auditório Azul” at EACH USP – School of Art, Science and Humanities of USP – at 27, 28 and 29 of October, 2010.
