Call for Papers

E-Revista de Estudos Interculturais / E-Journal of Intercultural Studies

O Centro de Estudos Interculturais (CEI) do ISCAP-P.PORTO iniciou a preparação do 7º
número da E-REI – E-Revista de Estudos Interculturais (ISSN 2182-6439), de
periodicidade anual, a publicar on-line em Maio de 2019, acessível a partir do website do
CEI (www.iscap.pt/cei). A E-REI está indexada no Catálogo da LATINDEX
(http://www.latindex.unam.mx/latindex/ficha?folio=24486).



Desde o primeiro número, a E-REI instituiu-se como um espaço virtual de intercâmbio de
ideias e trabalhos de investigação na vasta área dos Estudos Interculturais, na sua
intersecção com os Estudos Culturais, de Tradução & Interpretação, de Comunicação,
Sociais, Literários e Linguísticos.

Convidamos todos os interessados – docentes, investigadores e alunos – a propor artigos
inéditos e/ou recensões nas áreas mencionadas, de acordo com as normas editoriais
infra.



São particularmente bem-vindos os trabalhos das UC de Comunicação Intercultural dos
alunos de Licenciatura, bem como as teses e trabalhos de todas as UC dos alunos dos
Mestrados em Intercultural Studies for Business e em Tradução e Interpretação
Especializadas.



Os textos, em versão completa e definitiva, deverão ser enviados apenas em suporte
electrónico, até 28 de Fevereiro de 2019, para: cei@iscap.ipp.pt



Os textos, em Português, Inglês, Francês, Alemão ou Espanhol, terão uma extensão
máxima de 30 páginas A4, a espaço e meio, Times New Roman, tamanho 12. Não
aceitamos apresentações em powerpoint nem listagens de tópicos, apenas textos
estruturados, expositivos, revistos e formalmente adequados, com bibliografia e eventuais
notas no final. Os autores são responsáveis pela correcção das citações. As normas de
referência deverão ser coerentes ao longo de todo o texto e seguir uma norma
academicamente reconhecida. Eventuais gráficos e imagens deverão ser utilizados com
parcimónia e num formato universalmente legível e editável.

A equipa do CEI fica ao vosso inteiro dispor para o esclarecimento de qualquer dúvida.

The Centre for Intercultural Studies (CEI) of ISCAP-P.PORTO is preparing the 7th issue
of E-REI – E-Journal of Intercultural Studies (ISSN 2182-6439), to be published on-line

From the onset, E-REI has created a virtual space for the sharing of knowledge and
research projects on the vast field of Intercultural Studies, at their intersection with Cultural
Studies, Translation & Interpretation Studies, Communication, Social, Literary and
Linguistic Studies.




This call for papers is open to all those – teachers, researchers and students – interested
in submitting original papers or reviews in those thematic areas, according to the
guidelines below.



We welcome contributions by undergraduate students of the UCs of Intercultural
Communication, as well as thesis and works by students from all the UCs of the MA
programs in Intercultural Studies for Business and Specialized Translation and
Interpreting.



Complete, fully revised papers and reviews, should be sent by email only, until 28
February 2019, to cei@iscap.ipp.pt



Papers, in Portuguese, English, French, German or Spanish, should have a maximum of
30 pages A4, 1½ space, Times New Roman, size 12. Powerpoints or presentation style
topic lists are not accepted. Papers should be structured, fully revised and adequate, with
list of works cited and endnotes. Authors are responsible for quotations and references.
Reference style should be coherent along the text and follow recognized academic
standards. Charts and images should be kept to a minimum and sent to the editors in a
recognizable and editable format.
