Proceedings of Riga Technical University ICTE 2018 granting free of charge publishing by Elsevier journal Procedia Computer Science and covering by Scopus, and/or ISI Web of Science.

ICTE in Transportation and Logistics 2018 is interdisciplinary annual issue operating on the edge between transportation, logistics and computer science. The aim of the journal is promotion of introduction the latest IT achievements and active research methods in transportation and logistics involving citizens in training and decision making through participation in social networking. The journal will be the announcing area of research projects giving possibilities for fast dissemination the information about new findings and achievements.
The audience of the journal are academicians, municipalities, professional associations, public and private funded organizations, industry professionals, researchers and students.
Editorial board will involve representatives of leading universities, related scientific institutions and professional associations of Austria, Baltic States, China, Cyprus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Poland, Spain, Turkey and Ukraine coming from transportation and logistics, and computer science and information technologies.

Main topics are:

-Logistics information systems;
-Advanced research methods in transportation and logistics;
-Digital technologies in transportation;
-e-learning and social networking in use;
-Knowledge management for services quality development;
-Modeling and simulation in supply chains;
-Data visualization and virtualization in logistics,

as well other transport and logistics related topics.

The short abstracts (1000 signs no more) must be submitted by 15 April 2018 on e-mail: egils.ginters@rtu.lv or egils.ginters@ieee.org. Full article (no more than 6-8 A4 pages) in electronic form (MS Word) must be submitted by 01 November 2018. Author kit will be sent after acceptance by editorial board the theme of article.
