Aims
ROTRIB’19 is the 14th Conference organized in Romania in a series of international scientific events on TRIBOLOGY. The general objective of this conference is to bring scientific contributions to fundamental and applied Tribology. The event will provide an interdisciplinary forum for discussions & networking and will also aim to initiate collaborations among specialists. These collaborations will be focused on materials in Tribology and their real life applications in product design and reliability. Another key goal of this conference is the exchange of ideas and theories on new research methods and future trends. This will be achieved by bringing together specialists from various industries and academic backgrounds and leading researchers from diverse environments and scientific fields. Topics 1. Friction and Wear 2. Contact Mechanics 3. Biotribology, tribology in medicine 4. Micro and nanotribology 5. Lubricants 6. Lubrication 7. Tribochemistry and tribocorrosion 8. Tribology of machine elements 9. Tribology in manufacturing processes 10. Surface metrology, surface engineering and coatings 11. Emerging technologies and industrial tribology 12. Condition monitoring Information for Authors An abstract of 300 words (approx. 2000 characters), in English, containing the paper title, the authors names and their affiliation, the keywords and a short presentation of the paper should be submitted online. Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusion of the work, which will be presented in the full-length paper. Following the peer-review of abstracts, successful authors will be invited to submit a full paper to the conference and to present it. After the peer-reviewing process, the organizers intend to publish the Proceedings of the Conference in the IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (http://iopscience.iop.org/1757-899X). Papers (in English) reporting original, unpublished research should be strictly between 4 and 6 pages in length. Only contributions presented at the conference are eligible for publication in the Proceedings. At least one of the (co-) authors of each paper must be a registered participant to the conference and must present the paper. |
