Call For Papers | |||||||||||
This conference session will be part of Earth and Space Science Informatics at the American Geophysical Union - the largest of its kind - this year held in Washington.
We invite contributions from all aspects of earth and space science that are using new and emerging technologies. This includes observation technologies such as the use of new instruments and sensor systems, ground based, AUV or satellite based etc. There are common design issues involved with these areas such as power, communications and data management which makes this session particularly useful for cross-topic exchanges. Different domains also tend to advance some areas more than others, so it is often the case that research teams can learn vital information from others working in different fields. Student papers are welcome and we have a huge student community at the conference with opportunities to meet organisations across the fields of Earth Science as well as Google to NASA. Feel free to email (kirk@ieee.org) if you are uncertain your submission would be suitable. Only abstracts are required - the conference is all about talking to people. Organisers: Kirk Martinez and Jane Hart (University of Southampton, UK) and Michael Seablom (NASA) |
