IPCCC 2020 CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
39th IEEE International Performance, Computing and Communications Conference http://ipccc.org November 6th - 8st , 2020 Austin, Texas, USA The 39th IEEE International Performance Computing and Communications Conference (IEEE IPCCC 2020) will be held in Austin, Texas, USA, November 6--8, 2020. In addition to the main conference's technical program, IPCCC 2020 is soliciting proposals for one-day workshops to be held in conjunction with the main conference. Workshops on any topic related to the broad set of research and application areas covered by the IPCCC conference are welcome, particularly on topics that represent new research areas and directions. The workshops will be an integral part of IPCCC 2020 and will be fully incorporated into its logistical and budget planning process. Workshop papers will be published in the same set of proceedings as the main conference, and available on IEEE Xplore. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register at the full registration rate, and needs to present the paper at the workshop. No-show workshop papers will be excluded from the conference proceedings. ------------------------------------------------------------ COVID-19 Statement The IEEE IPCCC Executive Committee is aware of the current COVID-19 situation and understand that travel restrictions may hinder accepted authors traveling to Austin to participate in the 2020 IPCCC Conference in person. IEEE IPCCC has decided to hold the conference as scheduled in November 2020 with a hybrid structure. The conference is planned to take place as scheduled on November 6th - 8th, with the addition of a virtual participation component for attendees to participate remotely and for authors to present their accepted papers (including main conference papers, workshop papers, and posters) remotely. The committee will continue monitoring conditions and will provide updates if plans change. For questions, please contact the program chairs. ------------------------------------------------------------ Workshop proposals should include the following material: ● A statement of title, scope and topics of the workshop ● A description and rationale for the workshop topics and its relevance to the IPCCC community ● A statement of interest for co-locating the workshop with IPCCC ● A draft call for papers ● Tentative committee lists ● Background information on past instances of the workshop, if any; ● Expected number of submissions and accepted papers ● Expected numbers of attendees Proposals should be submitted to the workshop chair by email as ASCII or PDF files only.
