Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
EDUNINE 2021 (V IEEE World Conference on Engineering Education) will be held in a hybrid format in Guatemala, Guatemala, from March 14 to 17, 2021, at the headquarters of the Universidad Galileo.
EDUNINE is committed to hosting EDUNINE 2021 next year considering various formats for our in-person conference that was held entirely virtual in 2020. We will have a hybrid conference with part in person (if it is allowed by public health guidance) and part virtual. We are exploring potential approaches to enhance the virtual participation. In this way, we hope to provide an adaptable solution taking into account the diversity of circumstances that can affect our prospective authors and limit their participation in the event. EDUNINE is the annual regional conference of the IEEE Education Society organized jointly with COPEC for Region 9 (Latin America). The theme of this edition is the Future of Engineering Education: Current Challenges and Opportunities. Submissions are welcome on a variety of suggested streams of topics. We also encourage contributions that address the unprecedented disruption caused by COVID-19 on all aspects of higher education. All papers must be written in English and will be evaluated by peers. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® digital library. The languages for the presentations are English and also Portuguese and Spanish. In addition to the Paper Presentations, we will offer Workshops, Plenaries, Panels, and Special Sessions. For more information, please see the conference website: https://edunine.eu/edunine2021/ (Contact: edunine@edunine.eu) Streams of Topics 1) Moving to Quality & Equitable Engineering, Computing, & Technology (ETC) Distance Learning Solutions during & after COVID-19 (Lesson learned from the implementation of ETC Distance Education at the time of COVID-19).
