The Picture Coding Symposium (PCS) is an international forum devoted to
advances in visual data coding. PCS is the pioneer conference in image and video
coding, and has the longest history since its establishment in 1969.
The 34th PCS will convene in Ningbo, China. Renowned as “The library records
the history, the port reached the world”, Ningbo is famed for its rich culture and
port of global influence. Ningbo has a history of over 7000 years and Tianyige
Library is the oldest private library extant in China. Ningbo is also a land of
culture and history with well-developed economy featuring port-related
industries, manufacturing, textile, and high-tech industries.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers for the Symposium, in English, with a maximum length of five (5) pages and font size of 10 pt, including results, figures and references. Submissions will be accepted only in PDF format. Online submission will be available through the symposium web site. We will be submitting the proceedings for publication to IEEE Xplore and EI indexed.
