Call For Papers

Objectives and topics
A growing number of applications in areas of utilities industry, retail industry and sensor networks deal with a challenging type of data: data elements arrive in multiple, continuous, rapid and time-varying data streams. A key requirement of such applications is to continuously monitor and react to interesting phenomena occurring in the input streams. The data streams processing and analysis requires the use of specific techniques and technologies.

The aim of DASPA 2020 is to bring together academics, practitioners and other interested attendees for presentations, and discussions in the domain of data streams. In particular, with the aim of creating a wider community to explore the potential of this new topic, the workshop encourages interaction between the attendees from different background areas and applications, such as: Telecommunication, Internet Of Things, environment, Smart Cities, Transport, Health, Cyber security.
DASPA 2020 invites to paper submission, including position and work-in-progress papers, about unpublished research covering all aspects of Data Streaming.

Relevant topics for the workshop (but not limited to) are the following:
-
- Stream computing for Big Data
- Machine learning for Data Stream
- Summarizing techniques for Data Stream
- Incremental learning
- Dynamic Visualization for Data Stream
- Stream reasoning
- One-pass algorithms
- Distributed Data Stream processing
- Tools and engines for querying Data Stream
- RDF Stream Processing
- Smart cities
- Online recommender systems
- Data streaming and real time applications
Submission
All contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or intended to be published during the review period. Authors are invited to submit their papers electronically in pdf format, through https://ess.iccsa.org

Please consult the URL http://www.iccsa.org/Instructions-for-authors for formatting information and templates.
Authors are invited to submit original previously unpublished research papers written in English, and must be between 10 to 16 pages for long papers and 7 to 9 pages for short papers, strictly following the LNCS format guidelines. Authors can download the Latex (recommended) or Word templates available at Springer's web site. All accepted and presented workshop papers will be included into the conference proceedings, hence published by Springer in the prestigious series LNCS (indexed by ISI CPCI-S, included in ISI Web of Science, EI, ACM Digital Library, Dblp, Google Scholar, Scopus, etc.).
All accepted papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the workshop and pay the fee.
Please pay attention, when submitting your contribution to the Workshop, to select the right entry in the listbox (DASPA Workshop) shown in the Abstract, Paper and Camera Ready submission forms.
An author is enabled to change the workshop associated to a submitted paper until the submission deadline, by updating the paper into the system and selecting the DASPA Workshop from the list.
