CONIELECOMP is intended to provide a forum for scientists, engineers and students throughout the world to present and exchange results and ideas from original research and applications in the listed technical areas, but no restricted to them. This Conference has been successfully carried out every year since 1990. In 1994 the organizing committee of CONIELECOMP was in charge of the organization of MEXICON 94, which was the major technical meeting in electronics in México sponsored by the IEEE..

Since 2004 the technical memory is edited by IEEE Computer Society.
