Call for Papers - International Journal of Quality and Innovation

Special Issue on: "Challenges, Opportunities and Strategies to Overcome the Disruptions of the COVID-19 Global Humanitarian Crisis"

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an unprecedented global humanitarian crisis like no other as governments around the world have imposed lockdowns and movement control measures to contain the spread of the virus and to safeguard the health and wellbeing of citizens.

The special issue aims to curate a timely collection of articles that shed light on the challenges and opportunities that the COVID-19 global humanitarian crisis has produced for a wide range of communities such as businesses, consumers, educators, families, governments, and societies.

The special issue is also interested in new strategies that these communities can use to prepare for, navigate in, and recover from global humanitarian crisis such as COVID-19.

The special issue welcomes a broad range of methodologies such as case studies, conceptual and contextual development, expert commentaries, qualitative interviews, rapid reviews, and surveys.

Given the importance of the topic, manuscripts submitted to the special issue will undergo a fast-track review process by two peer reviewers, with the goals of returning the first decision within two to four weeks and the final decision within two rounds of peer review.
