2020 International Workshop on Advanced Analytics and Learning on Temporal Data (AALTD 2020) will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 (or Monday 14, 2020) in Ghent, Belgium co-located with ECML/PKDD 2020 conference. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and experts in machine learning, data mining, pattern analysis and statistics to share their challenging issues and advanced research on temporal data analysis. Analysis and learning from temporal data cover a wide scope of tasks including learning metrics, learning representations, unsupervised feature extraction, clustering and classification.
Topics of Interest The proposed workshop welcomes papers that cover, but are not limited to, one or several of the following topics: • Temporal data clustering • Semi-supervised and supervised classification on temporal data • Deep learning and learning representations for temporal data • Metric and kernel learning for temporal data • Modeling temporal dependencies • Advanced forecasting and prediction models • Space-temporal statistical analysis • Functional data analysis methods • Interpretable time series analysis methods • Dimensionality reduction, sparsity, algorithmic complexity and big data challenge • Bio-informatics, medical, energy consumption, multimedia and other applications on temporal data • Benchmarking and assessment methods for temporal data We also encourage submissions that relate research results from other areas to the workshop topics. Paper Submission Paper submission is managed through EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aaltd20) for the following two tracks: • Oral presentation • Poster session (including research in progress and demos) Authors that would not want their papers to apply for possible oral presentation should inform the organizers at the time of submission. Submitted papers should be 6 to 16 pages long using LNCS formatting style After the workshop, authors of selected papers will be invited for publication in a special volume in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series (see last year’s edition here : https://www.springer.com/fr/book/9783030390976) Important Dates Workshop paper submission deadline: June 9, 2020 Workshop paper acceptance notification: July 9, 2020 Workshop paper camera-ready deadline: July 28 2020 Workshop date: September 18, 2020 (or September 14, 2020) Organizers • Tony Bagnall, University of East Anglia, England • Thomas Guyet, Institut Agro/IRISA, France • Georgiana Ifrim, University College Dublin, Ireland • Vincent Lemaire, Orange Labs, France • Simon Malinowski, Université de Rennes 1/IRISA, France • Romain Tavenard, Université de Rennes 2/LETG, France |
