The Workshop on Requirements Engineering 2021 (WER 2021) is now in its twentieth-fourth edition. This series of workshops on the area started in 1998 as a meeting of the Ibero-American requirements engineering community. However, since then, it has attracted attention from researchers and practitioners from other parts of the world. The WER format promotes discussion and knowledge exchange between the academy and industry members. As in the last editions, this one will also feature invited lectures from well-known researchers and practitioners, and tutorials.
WER 2021 invites submission in the field of Requirements Engineering as part of the following tracks: • Regular Track (WER-RT) The paper should not exceed 14 pages for full papers or 6 pages for short papers according to the LNCS format. • Tutorial Track (WER-TT) The proposal for a 3-hour tutorial should not exceed two pages, formatted according to the LNCS page format. • Master's and Doctoral Track (WER-MDT) The paper should not exceed 7 pages of contents for Master's work and 10 pages of contents for Doctoral work, according to the LNCS page format. • Software Requirements Tools Track (WER-SRTT) A tool submission must include a paper and a demo video with audio comments and high resolution. The paper must have a maximum of 6 pages, including figures (in good quality), references and appendices, formatted according to the LNCS page format. Submissions must be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English. All accepted papers will be published with Open Access through the WERpapers repository.
