Korea Development Institute of Public Policy and Management (KDI School) is delighted to invite policy makers, academics, and experts to submit papers related to the field of impact evaluation for an upcoming conference. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the KDI School’s founding, the KDI School Impact Evaluation Conference in Development will be held under a theme of “Empirical findings in public policies and development cooperation.” Selected papers will be presented during the hybrid conference, which will take place on 24-25 August, 2022.
Conference Venue: The conference will be held in a hybrid format based on the venue in Korea. Participation in the conference in-person or online would be decided based on the circumstances of the person who has been selected for the conference sessions. Suggested Topics: Although the focus of the conference is on promoting works involving impact evaluation in public policy, we also welcome submissions from diverse disciplines in empirical research findings. We welcome submissions of high-quality original research papers in the areas of impact evaluation in public policy or development cooperation policy. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to, the following: (Theme) Empirical findings in public policies and development cooperation Topics - (Special Session) Impact evaluation in post COVID-19 era - (Regular Sessions) Labor market, Aging, Health, Education, Infrastructure, Gender, Microfinance Submission Details: All papers must be written and presented in English. An original full paper or extended abstract should be submitted to the conference organizers through the conference website (conference.kdischool.ac.kr) by 31 May, 2022 (KST 24:00). Papers selected for presentation will be notified based on committee decision. The selection decisions will be made on the basis of 1) relevance with the conference themes and 2) academic quality of the research. Maximum of 10 authors will be selected and those who present the paper at the conference will be awarded with an honorarium of USD 3,000. KDI School is a premier graduate school in the field of public policy, development policy, and public management.
