Call For Papers

On the occasion of the tricentennial of Immanuel Kant’s birth, Lexicon Philosophicum: International Journal for the History of Texts and Ideas will publish a Special Issue edited by Antonio Lamarra (ILIESI-CNR, Rome) and Paola Rumore (University of Turin). This issue will include both invited and selected papers. Among the contributors are Igor Agostini, Stefano Bacin, Mirella Capozzi, David Del Bianco, Corey W. Dyck, Luca Fonnesu, Hansmichael Hohenegger, Dieter Hüning, Alexei Krouglov, Paola Rumore, Maja Schepelmann, Clemens Schwaiger, Robert Theis, Achim Vesper, Michael Walschots.
Lexicon Philosophicum is the flagship journal of the Istituto per il Lessico Intellettuale Europeo e Storia delle Idee (Institute for the European Intellectual Lexicon and History of Ideas - ILIESI, http://www.iliesi.cnr.it). The scope of the journal is the investigation of the ‘history of texts and ideas’ through the peculiar lens of the historiography of learned terminology that characterizes the ILIESI. In accordance with the editorial line of the journal, papers are expected to fall within the fields of the history of texts and ideas and offer special attention to philosophical lexical issues. Submissions are expected to cover topics of a lexicological or lexicographic nature, to address the history of Kant’s philosophical terminology, or to fall into the broader field of studies on the edition, dissemination, translation, and reception of his works.
