Join us in exploring the exciting world of structured data transformations! Whether you're working with relational data, abstract syntax trees, graphs, or high-level software models, these transformations play a crucial role in a wide range of applications, including the development of powerful low-code platforms.
The Transformation Tools Contest (TTC) aims to help users, experts and tool developers to learn about the state-of-the-art through practical case studies. The 2023 edition of TTC will be hosted at the University of Leicester on Thursday 20th July, 2023, as part of STAF 2023: https://conf.researchr.org/home/staf-2023/ttc-2023 At TTC 2023, we'll dive deep into the realm of transformation tools and their impact on the community. With a growing number of tools following diverse approaches, we encounter both challenges and opportunities. By participating, you'll have the chance to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and ensure you're using the most effective tools for your needs. This year, the following case studies have been selected: * Asymmetric and Directed Bidirectional Transformation for Container Orchestrations * Incremental MTL vs. GPLs: Class into Relational Database Schema * Program abstraction by transformation: Abstraction of Visual Basic to UML * The TTC 2023 KMEHR to FHIR Case (from Belgian to international health records) The case description, supporting resources, and discussion between solution developers are linked from the TTC 2023 website: https://www.transformation-tool-contest.eu/cfs.html If you would like to participate in the contest, take your favourite transformation tool and submit your solutions via EasyChair by 29th June 2023: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ttc2023 A submission should consist of a paper and the actual solution (i.e., programs, models, etc.). The paper should include a description of the chosen case study variant (if any) and a presentation of the chosen solution, including a discussion of design decisions. Immediately after the submission deadline, please note solution developers will be asked to participate in a round of open review of other solutions. Therefore, we ask that all solution developers are available in the period 29th June to 13th July 2023 to participate in these discussions. Besides the presentations of the submitted solutions, we will have an online event where solution authors will be asked to present their solutions in front of a bigger audience and answer any questions afterwards. The date of this event will be defined together with solution authors. TTC 2023 solutions will first appear in informal proceedings on the TTC website, and after the contest a more formal contest proceedings volume will be edited. After TTC, case and solution authors can collaborate based on the feedback obtained during the contest on follow-up submissions to journals on the fields of software engineering, modelling, and software tools for technology transfer. |
