The International Conference on Intelligent Environments is a leading annual venue for research on spaces, systems and technologies that sense, reason, adapt and respond to people and their context. IE’27 invites contributions that explore how AI — including machine learning, generative AI, foundation models, edge intelligence, multimodal sensing and autonomous decision-making — can be embedded responsibly into homes, workplaces, cities, healthcare systems, learning environments, cultural spaces, industry and public infrastructure.
The conference especially welcomes work that combines technical innovation with real-world deployment, user experience, evaluation, ethics, privacy and societal impact. The programme includes full and short papers, posters, demos and videos, a Doctoral Colloquium, special sessions, tutorials, workshops, keynote talks and an industrial forum. Submissions for the Long Papers session and for any Special Issue should be up to 8 pages in IEEE conference Format.
