Workshop Concept
The workshop aims to provide a global forum for researchers and practitioners to present original, unpublished research results and innovative ideas in the areas of digital forensic and incident analysis.

Key Themes
We welcome the submission of papers from the full spectrum of issues relating to the theory and practice of digital forensics. Areas of special interest include, but are not limited to:
- Digital forensics tools and applications
- Incident response and investigation
- Forensic standards and procedures
- Portable electronic device forensics
- Network forensics
- Data hiding and recovery
- Network traffic analysis, traceback and attribution
- Data mining and e-discovery and their corporate use
- Legal, ethical and policy issues related to?digital forensics
- Digital evidence visualisation and presentation
- Integrity of digital evidence and live investigations
- Digital evidence chain of custody, storage and preservation
- Multimedia analysis
- Digital forensics case studies
- The Trojan defence
- Best practices and case studies
- Forensics issues of malicious code
- Anti-forensics

Paper submission, review and publication
Authors are invited to submit full papers, not exceeding ten pages (including all figures, tables and references) by 4 March 2011. A comprehensive set of instructions for preparing camera ready papers can be found on the website where also a Word template is also available. Please refer to this before submission. Authors are strongly encouraged to use the Word template for ease of paper formatting.

All papers will be peer reviewed double-blindly by at least two members of the Programme Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the workshop's printed proceedings (with ISBN), provided at least one of the authors have registered to attend the workshop by the early bird registration deadline.

A number of selected papers will be invited to be extended for inclusion in the 4th issue of volume 3 of the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics, due to appear in October 2011. Papers of registered authors who do not attend the workshop to present their contributions will not qualify for inclusion.
