Call For Papers

ICPRA2024 is the 4th edition of the International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, following the successful previous editions, ICPRAI2018, ICPRAI2020, and ICPRAI2022.

This conference aims to bring together researchers, students, and practitioners of pattern recognition and artificial intelligence to encourage overview, in-depth talks, and discussions on the latest research in all areas of pattern recognition and artificial intelligence research and applications. An informal open discussion will be highly encouraged during all sessions.

The main topics of interest are gathered in four scientific tracks (but are not limited to):
Track 1 Pattern Recognition: Data Clustering, Domain Adaptation and Generalization, Information Retrieval, Feature Extraction/Selection and Evaluation, Statistical Pattern Recognition, Structural Pattern Recognition, Time Series Processing
Track 2 Computer Vision: Behavior Recognition, Depth Processing and 3D Data, Face and Facial Expression Recognition, Human Pose Estimation, Image Fusion, Image Processing/Analysis, Multimodal Models (Vision + Language), Object Detection and Recognition, Scene Understanding, Segmentation, Video Analysis
Track 3 Artificial Intelligence: Causal Inference, Continual Learning, Expert Systems, GANs and Diffusion Models, Generative AI, Graph Neural Networks, Interpretability and Explainable AI, Knowledge Representation and Representation Learning, Machine/Deep Learning, Optimization, Reinforcement Learning, Semantic Analysis, Uncertainty Prediction, Zero- and Few-Shot Learning
Track 4 Applications: Autonomous Vehicles, Biometrics, Brain-Computer/Machine Interface, Brain-Inspired Computing, Document Analysis and Recognition, Human-Computer Interaction, Medical Data Processing, Natural Language Processing, Neural Information Processing, Odometry, Robotics, Social Computing, Unmanned Systems

Theoretical, Methodological, and Application-oriented contributions related to these topics are welcome, and may include: handwriting, document, text, language processing, e-learning, image processing/analysis, biomedical imaging, remote sensing, image retrieval, 2D/3D images and graphics, audio/video, multimedia applications, security and forensic studies, mobile applications, face, fingerprint, iris, brain informatics, strategic objects and targets, industrial applications of pattern recognition and artificial intelligence, innovation and technology transfer, financial trends and analysis, traffic analysis and smart transportation systems, robotics, human interaction, or autonomous vehicles.
