CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS (EXTENDED DEADLINE)
You are cordially invited to submit a paper or extended abstract to CompleNet 2025, the 16th Annual Conference on Complex Networks, to take place in Fortaleza, Brazil on April 22-25, 2025. CompleNet is an international conference on complex networks that unites researchers and practitioners from various disciplines, including sociology, biology, physics, and computer science, who share a common desire to gain a deeper comprehension of interdependencies within and across systems. CompleNet Live provides a platform to exchange ideas and present discoveries related to diverse network types, encompassing biological, technological, informational, and social networks. CompleNet Live’s primary objective is to delve into and commemorate the interdisciplinary essence of complex networks. We encourage you to submit an original paper or an extended abstract to the 16th CompleNet conference. All accepted contributions will be invited to be presented at the conference. Presentations will take place in a plenary session, offering heightened exposure and integration across topics and expertise. HOW TO SUBMIT Submissions are via Microsoft CMT. You will need to have an account on the system or create one to submit your contribution. Submission site: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CompleNet2025 CONFIRMED KEYNOTE SPEAKERS - José S. Each submission (papers or abstracts) will undergo a single-blind review process by at least two referees on the Program Committee. Papers, if accepted, are included in the Proceedings of the conference edited by Springer Nature. Abstracts are not included in the proceedings or published anywhere. All accepted contributions will be invited to be presented at the conference. CompleNet is a single track, plenary session event. Accepted works will be accepted as oral presentations, lightning presentations, or posters. The poster session is one of the best-attended events because it happens in parallel with a conference reception. Oral presentations are typically 15-20 minutes long (with questions), and lightning sessions are generally 5 minutes long and do not include questions. STUDENT SUBMISSION Submitted works (papers and abstracts) can be considered for the best student submission prize if the authors indicate that in the submission. Note that to be considered you have to indicate that in your submission but also fulfill all the following requirements: -The student has to be the first author in the submitted work. - The student is expected to be the presenter of the work if accepted. SUBMISSION FORMAT - Papers: Submitted papers should follow the Springer format and not exceed 12 pages. Springer Format: https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/conference-proceedings/editors - Abstracts: Extended abstracts should be a minimum of one page and a maximum of two pages, including one figure and references. BEST CONTRIBUTIONS PRIZES CompleNet often offers prizes for the best poster, best presentation, and best student presentation. The best presenter (non-student) will be invited as a keynote speaker for the following year.
