Join us for the 15th International Symposium on Lactic Acid Bacteria which will take place on the 23-27 August 2026 at the Hotel Zuiderduin, Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands.

The series of tri-annual symposia on Lactic Acid Bacteria began in 1983 to communicate and stimulate research on Lactic Acid Bacteria and their application.

The symposium will highlight the role Lactic Acid Bacteria play in the production of food and feed, as human commensals, how they promote health through probiotic applications and will showcase new technical advances.
The symposium will take place in the Congress Centre Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands - the traditional home of the LAB symposia, a beautiful north sea village which is easily accessible by car and public transport.
