CICPS 2013: Call for Book Chapter on “Computational Intelligence for Decision Support in Cyber Physical Systems”
Link: https://sites.google.com/site/projectcfbc/home Call for Book Chapter Proposals Authors are invited to contribute book chapters for the upcoming title "Computational Intelligence for Decision Support in Cyber Physical Systems” to be published by Springer, under series "Studies in Computational Intelligence" (ISSN: 1860-949X), www.springer.com/series/7092. The book is indexed by DBLP, Ulrichs, SCOPUS, MathSciNet, Current Mathematical Publications, Mathematical Reviews, Zentralblatt Math: MetaPress and Springerlink. The topics covered in the edited book will include, but not limited to: ************************************************************************ Below are some desirable (but not limited to) topics: Intelligent Mobile Vehicles: Automotive electronics, sensors, actuators, controller and embedded software. Avionics and aerospace systems/sub-systems, Vision guided motion, computer vision, Control and systems of computational learning in complex, changing and uncertain environments, Distributed/Cooperative control and communication. Energy: Smart home architectures for optimized heating, cooling and lighting system. Smart grid, Distributed networks for renewable sources, Energy efficient smart devices, Energy consumption and power saving techniques, New architectures for improving energy transmission and distribution. Medicine and healthcare: CPS innovations in medicine and healthcare systems combined with computational intelligence e.g. Artificial organs, health monitoring systems, assistive robotics, cognitive reasoning, decision making, planning, as well as observing and communicating, integrating processes of perception. Smart infrastructure: Newly planned civilian infrastructures smarter with CPS technology. Sensor nets for structural health monitoring (SHM), vibration control, fatigue estimation, feature extraction for diagnosis/prognosis, failure prediction of bridges and critical infrastructure etc. Abstracts submission: Abstracts can be submitted before the due date by using email attachments to corresponding editors. Tentative Timeframe: • Abstract submission: 30th March 2013 (Extended) • Accepted Abstract notification: 15th April 2013 • Deadline for chapter submission: 21st June 2013 • Acceptance Notification: 25th Aug 2013 • Revised chapter submission: 20th Sept, 2013 • Publication: Dec, 2013 If you are willing to participate in this book, please submit the chapter proposal (Extended Abstract) of 2-3 pages (in Word or Pdf) which should be organized as follows: - Tentative Title - Author(s) Details - Chapter Content Organize the body of the abstract as follows: a.
