Volume 16, Issue 1 — March 2027


The Journal of Law, Society, and Authority (JLSA) invites original research articles and scholarly contributions for its forthcoming Volume 16, Issue 1,scheduled for publication in March 2027.

JLSA welcomes rigorous and original scholarship addressing contemporary issues in law, political science, international relations, and related fields in the social sciences and humanities. The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary, comparative, theoretical and empirical contributions that contribute to the understanding of law, political authority, governance, institutions, society, and international affairs.

Areas of Interest

Contributions may address, but are not limited to:

Law, legal systems and institutional transformations;
Constitutional, administrative and international law;
Human rights and fundamental freedoms;
Political institutions, governance and public policy;
Political theory and contemporary political developments;
International relations and global governance;
International security and foreign policy;
European and comparative politics;
State–society relations and socio-legal issues;
Contemporary transformations in political, legal and international affairs.

The list is indicative rather than exhaustive. Contributions falling within the multidisciplinary scope of the journal are welcome.

Languages

Manuscripts are accepted in English and French.

Submission

Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by another journal.
