Call For Papers

The Data Mining and Optimization Research Group, Centre for Artificial Technology of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is pleased to anounce the 2012 Fourth International Conference on Data Mining and Optimization 2012 (DMO2012) which will be held from 2 - 4 September in Langkawi. The 4th International Conference on DMO aims to build on the success of previous years to provide a forum for data mining and optimization researchers in academia and industry to present and discuss their latest advances. In addition to peer-reviewed papers, DMO will present a plenary lectures and tutorials to facilitate and inspires researchers both the data miners and 'optimizers' in their work.

The theme of the conference is 'Towards Safer and Greener Earth". To improve the quality of life, the challenge to researchers and experts in data mining and optimization is to model solutions using sophisticated and intelligent technologies and approaches that promote sustainable and greener solutions.

DMO'12 offers a 2 days focus conference (no parallel sessions) on Data Mining & Optimization field.

We invite submissions of papers presenting a high-quality original research and development for the conference tracks 1) Data mining, 2) Optimization and 3) Application of Data Mining/Optimization.

Topics of interest encompass all aspects of Data Mining and Optimization and soft computing. These include all aspects of Data Mining tasks, techniques and application. (see for details)

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper of 4~7 pages (PDF). Authors must follow the double columns IEEE format. The language of the Seminar is English. The refereed Proceedings of DMO2012 under an ISBN reference will include all papers accepted for the seminar.
