The 40th Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC 40) is officially calling for papers! This milestone 40th-anniversary event will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, from December 10–12, 2026, hosted by the Graduate Institute of Linguistics at National Taiwan University (NTU). PACLIC is a premier annual international conference that has brought together researchers in linguistics, computational linguistics, and natural language processing for four decades. Since 1987, PACLIC has served as a vital forum for advancing language science across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Dates: December 10–12, 2026 Venue: National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan Our Official Website: https://paclic2026.github.io Full Call for Papers (CFP): https://paclic2026.github.io/cfp.html Important Deadlines: - Paper Submission Deadline: August 1, 2026 (AoE, UTC-12) - Notification of Acceptance: September 30, 2026 Key Metrics & Publication: - All submissions undergo a rigorous, double-blind peer review process. - Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be indexed in Scopus and included in the ACL Anthology. Submission Guidelines - Submissions must be anonymous for double-blind review. - Papers must follow the ACL 2026 two-column format. - Full papers should be up to 8 pages (excluding references). Topics of Interest: PACLIC 40 has the goal of a broad technical program.
