Soft Computing has become a formal Computer Science area of study since 1990. It is designed to model and analyze relatively complex systems arising in biology, medicine, the humanities, management sciences and other such important disciplines. Soft computing deals with imprecision, uncertainty, partial truth, and approximation to achieve tractability, robustness and low solution cost. Soft computing is a consortium of powerful tools including Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Evolutionary Computing, Swarm Intelligence, and Probabilistic Reasoning. Soft computing is being used successfully in many areas including pattern recognition, complex process control, signal processing, medical diagnosis and engineering, stock market prediction, bioinformatics.
Another equally challenging area is Information Communication Technology (ICT) which envelops communication of data, compression of data, security of data, network security, internet technology and similar important aspects. There has been a significant development in research and applications in this technology. TOPICS The conference will provide a common platform to researchers and practitioners to exchange their ideas and knowledge on the latest development on both these challenging areas. The topics covered in the conference include (but not limited to) the following: Fuzzy Logic Neural Networks Swarm Intelligence Evolutionary Computing Machine Learning Applications of soft computing in all areas including Pattern Recognition, Image Processing Internet Security, Data Security, Data Mining, Bioinformatics, and Biomedical Engineering.
