The 30th Jubilee International Convention MIPRO will be held from the 21st to the 25th May 2007 at the Grand Hotel Adriatic Convention Centre and in the Hotel Admiral in Opatija. The Convention is traditionally dedicated to information and communication technology, electronics and microelectronics. The work of the Convention will comprise nine scientific and professional conferences, plenary sessions, tutorials, invited lectures, workshops, round tables, professional presentations and an exhibition of ICT and electronic equipment and services. We expect around a thousand participants from more than 20 countries, from all over the world. Due to its varied content and high professional quality MIPRO is becoming an ever more important meeting point for scientists, experts, entrepreneurs, managers, persons in the civil service, and all others involved in any way with information and communication technologies. Each participant, in his/her way and scope of activity contributes to the development of this area. It is the synergy of the activities of participants of different profiles which helps MIPRO realize its mission expressed in the motto: With MIPRO to knowledge society.


The Convention will be organized under the general sponsorship of HEP â?? Croatian Electricity Company, Inc. The main organizer is the Croatian Society MIPRO, while the co-organizers are listed further in the information. The main patron of the Convention is the Government of Croatia, while other patrons are listed further in the information. The Convention is organized under the technical auspices of IEEE Region 8 and IEEE Croatia Section.
