Australasian Database Conference 2012, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia,
30th January - 2nd February, 2012 http://www.eng.unimelb.edu.au/adc2012/ The Australasian Database Conference series is an annual forum for sharing the latest research and novel applications of database systems. The 23nd Australasian Database Conference, ADC 2012, will be held in Melbourne, Australia, as part of the Australasian Computer Science Week (ACSW12). As with previous years, registration to the Australasian Database Conference will enable delegates to attend sessions in any conference participating in the Australasian Computer Science Week (http://www.cs.rmit.edu.au/acsw2012/ ). ADC 2012 is featured by: (i) invited speakers: Yufei Tao (Chinese Uni of Hong Kong), Hua Wang (University of Southern Queensland), Geoff Webb (Monash University) (ii) a collocated special ACM SIGSPATIAL Australian Chapter workshop: Geographical/Spatial Data Management and Analysis. This workshop will have exclusively invited talks given by experts in the area of geographical/spatial data management and analysis. A poster competition with a total price of $1000 will follow the invited talks. All ADC 2012 attendees can attend this workshop for free! Papers should be no more than 10 pages in length conforming to the formatting instructions for the series Conferences in Research and Practice in Information Technology (CRPIT). Each paper will be judged on its originality, significance, technical quality, relevance to ADC, and presentation. Submissions of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one author will attend the conference to present the work.
