Wireless and ubiquitous connectivity have enabled mobile computing and Internet access on the go as a life-enhancing and indispensable experience of modern life. Mobile networks has become a new services consumption and delivery platform for many industries and government organizations worldwide. The 2012 IEEE International Conference on Mobile Services (MS) aims at providing an international forum that is dedicated to explore different aspects of mobile services, from business, management to computing systems, algorithms, and applications and to promote technological innovations in research and development of mobile services, including, but not limited to, wireless networks, sensor networks, mobile computing, mobile enterprise, mobile eCommerce, collaborative computing and social networks. As an integral part of the Federated Conferences in Service Computing, sponsored by IEEE Computer Society since 2003, research papers accepted by IEEE MS 2012 will be presented to a broader audience at the federated conferences in service computing.

MS 2012 will contain a research track, an application & industry track, and a work-in-progress track.

MS 2012 Will co-locate with 4 other service-oriented conferences under the umbrella of the 8th IEEE World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2012)

Accepted MS papers will appear in the IEEE MS 2012 conference proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press, EI indexed, available in IEEE digital library.

A Best Paper Award and a Best Student Paper Award will be presented by MS 2012. (The first author of the best student paper should be a full-time student.) Both will be directly invited to submit an extended version to IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC, SCI&EI).

Extended versions of selected papers will be invited for submission by the IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC, SCI&EI), International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR, SCI&EI, impact factor: 1.2), and International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management (IJBPIM).
