The 23rd Magnetic Recording Conference (TMRC 2012) will be held August 20–22 at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, Calif. This year's conference will offer sessions on write head and read head technologies, shingled magnetic recording, energy assisted recording, head-disk interface and channels.
