Special Session on Intelligent Recommended Systems
at the 5th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems (ACIIDS 2013)
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 18-20, 2013

---------------------------------------------------------------------
We are pleased to invite you to participate in Special Session on Intelligent Recommended Systems (IRS) at ACIIDS 2013.

The main aim of recommendation systems is to deliver customized (personalized) information to a very differentiated users. They may be applied in a great variety of domains, such as: net-news filtering, web recommender, personalized newspaper, sharing news, movie recommender, document recommender, information recommender, e-commerce, purchasing, travel and store recommender, e-mail filtering, music recommender, student courses recommender, user interface recommendation, negotiation systems, etc.. We consider two dimensions of the recommendation systems, user modeling and user model exploitation.

The IRS Special Session on ACIIDS 2013 will provide an excellent opportunity for researchers to discuss modern approaches and techniques for Intelligent Recommended Systems and their applications.

------------TOPICS---------------------------------------------------------

The scope of this session, areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Recommended Web-based Systems
Intelligent E-learning Systems
Innovative architecture and infrastructure of Recommended Systems
Advanced Computational techniques of Recommended Systems
New methods and techniques for recommendation process
Intelligent Retrevial Information Systems
User modelling, user profile representation and maintenance
Information filtering methods
Profile adaptation techniques

------------PUBLICATIONS---------------------------------------------------------

All contributions must be original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period. All papers must be submitted using the main ACIIDS 2013 submission system. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in a series of Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence LNAI (indexed by DBLP, EI, Scopus, and Thomson ISI).
